Can you share the stories behind some of your paintings?
Every piece of my art has a story to tell. 'Kempii' was inspired from my time spent in the U.S. Coast Guard with several experiences helping the Turtle Hospital down in Marathon, Fl. Which was displayed at the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC, as part of the 'Officers as Artists' exhibition. 'Beryl the Pelican' was inspired by a hurricane approaching Corpus Christi and named by my daughter Megan.

What inspires you to create your art?
I want my art to inspire people and show others that it's never too late to pursue a new passion in life. It's about sharing that journey and encouraging others to find their creative spark.
What materials do you use in your acrylic paintings?
I use high-quality acrylic paints and ultra-smooth panel coated with acid-free acrylic gesso to ensure the longevity and vibrancy of my artwork. Each piece is created with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
Do you offer custom or commissioned artwork?
No, I am not available for custom commissions at this time.
