About the painting:

When we helped move my daughter and son-in-law from Virginia to Georgia, we arrived at their new home to find a painting left behind by the previous tenants, a quiet little 'welcome' of sorts. Morgan (our oldest daughter) wasn't a fan of the painting and was ready to toss it out, but I noticed the back of the canvas was still blank. I told her I could paint anything she wanted on it. She smiled and said 'Anything? How about a rainbow jellyfish?" So my granddaughter Hallie and I carried that old canvas into the garage, grabbed some acrylics and a brush, and turned a forgotten painting into something brand new. A reminder that art has a way of bringing generations together and giving new life to what might otherwise be left behind.
