Story behind the painting:
While vending at the Rockport market, a small piece of my lunch fell to the ground and an iridescent grackle appeared without hesitation. He showed no fear, hopping right to my feet. When I offered another bite from my hand, he took it gently, like an old family pet.
Afterward, he perched nearby and watched me quietly.
Sometimes trust shows up when you least expect it.
